You may wonder why you would spend three times as much for a wooden spoon. Well, just look at it; it is beautiful in your utensil crock for one thing. Then notice the nicely shaped handle, this is not a "stick" wooden spoon. That handle which curves in, then rounds back out around the hanger hole is obviously much more difficult to make and ends up much more useful than just looks. In fact, the main cook in the house says this is the best spoon ever for stirring thick, heavy foods.

Very nicely burnished, this one hasn't started getting rough and "woody".
