Absolutely love this bread box. May not be everyone's style but it has a vintage look that works well with my newly remodeled kitchen decor. Looks like it been there forever, maybe even a hand-me-down heirloom. Expect some small defects and you wont' be dissappointed. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I actually purchased two sets of these dispencer and my kids love them. I love them for two major reasons, 1- nobody is carrying around and open cereal box anymore and 2- they make breakfast time alot faster. I like that they come appart so easily for cleaning and they look great sitting out on the counter. They have a cap on the opening so the cereal stays fresh and it really isn't hard to remember to put it back on like I thought it would be. The kids even remember to do it. I only have a couple of small issues with them. 1- that they are much more light weight that I thought they would be, which can be a good thing but when I go to put the cap back on the bottom I usually have two hands free to do it so I can keep from lifting the compartment out of the stand, and 2- with spring arriving we have issues with tiny, tiny ants in the kitchen and unfortunately, while no other pest can get into the cereal, they can. That is the only real reason I rate this a 4 rather than 5 in stars. Keeping the pests out is my biggest concern and finding the ants in the cereal was a little discouraging but I would still purchase them again, and just try harder to keep the ants away.

These are well made and I love using them instead of the plastic bags the stores provide which were not only wasteful but would lock in moisture. These go straight from the grocery store to the refrigerator - no moisture problems since these are ventilated.
They're a little short/small for celery and large heads of lettuce but work very well for most produce.

DH & I have salad nearly every night. BUT THE MOST surprising thing. We went on a 10 day cruise, came back after and to my surprise, the greens were still fresh. And it was spinach. And we had the spinach some days prior to the cruise. Normally, I rinse my greens and store them in salad bags with air holes & maybe with a paper towel depending on the lettuce. I am very impressed because I throw away less greens. If you buy from those big warehouse stores, like "C" you know what I mean, big bags of lettuce-2 people...make it last!
Great storage as said, like the compartment space underneath to store that little divider or else I would forget where I put it.
