SpiceCare Starter Kit

#1: SpiceCare Starter Kit Reviews!

I randomly happened upon TableFare's web site while reading about spices and I'm very glad that I did. My advice is to jump right in and order the Starter Kit because no review or picture does this product justice. Wait until you feel it in your hands!

First, a note on shipping: I live in Eastern Washington and SpiceCare ships from Seattle. I wasn't expecting the package for about 3-4 days so you can imagine my glee when I saw the package 1 day after it shipped! Your mileage may vary depending on where you live, what you order, etc. But I was impressed.

Second, a note on the customer service: I was hesitant to spend the money on this when you can find affordable (and durable) glass jars locally. I sent an e-mail to TableFare's customer service and guess who wrote me back? The owner herself! She sent me an e-mail so detailed and impressive that I immediately bought the SpiceCare Starter Kit after reading the e-mail.

Third, a note for the cost-conscious: I know that this can be a more expensive product than others out there but you pay for quality. I really recommend building your collection slowly if you're on a budget. If money is tight, don't spring for the full system; buy the Starter Kit (or 2 or 3) and then you can add individual containers later. It's a cost-effective solution so that you can organize your spices now. Your kitchen won't be happier!

The containers are heavier than I imagined, and it thrilled me when I pulled them out of the box because they are VERY durable. The interlocking of the containers is genius because you can group spices by collections, which means that you can have "most used spices" in one unit, "spices used for baking" in another, etc. Don't limit yourself to spices either! Fill them with baking powder, baking soda, cocoa, espresso powder, etc and you will have an extremely efficient method right at your fingertips.

Now, I have to go because I'm really anxious to go to my co-op and buy more spices to fill these containers!

Finally found the right solution! - Laura Rabb - Sunset Hills, MO USA
These little darlings are exactly as promised on the website; finally all my spices are in the same spot in my kitchen! No more buying a bottle of oregano just to find another jar buried in the back of the shelf later. It's easy to find what you need, use it, put it away, and determine if you need more. The tips and tricks videos on the website were very helpful. The are a little pricey, but certainly seem to be very high quality, and I expect them to last a very long time. I show them to everyone who comes over, it's my favorite find of the year!

SpiceCare System

#1: SpiceCare System Reviews!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3F0BFLDOA05HP Well designed and constructed. I've been searching for a system like this for years with different sizes, available shaker tops, and individual containers available for purchase separately (and no special rack required). I also love the custom label feature on the website. With a collection of over 60 spices and OCD tendancies, it's been very hard to find a system that meets my requirements. In response to some negative reviews, after watching the video on the TableFare website, I had virtually no problems removing the stainless sleeves to install the labels. One sleeve stuck, but it was easy to gently pry one of the bottom sides loose with a small screwdriver and move on. It only took me a little over an hour to fill the system with 1/3 of my spice collection. I see a great increase in my cabinet space already. I've ordered about 40 more containers to finish the job. Even my husband is thrilled with the system, increase in cabinet space and ease of organizing our spices. The customer service is wonderful; I've received a fast and courteous response to a couple of questions. Even though I've had the first system filled for a few days I still have to stop every time I enter my kitchen, open the spice cabinet doors and (while the heavenly chorus sings "Ahhhh") gaze in awe at my beautifully contained and organized spices. (Wish I had thought to take a before photo.)

Amazing Spice Organization - C. Tye - Boston, MA
I am THRILLED with this product. I started with the 6 piece starter system to make sure I was happy with the design and quality and within 10 min of receiving my package I had ordered the 24 piece system (and another since). We are big foodies and I'm sure you can imagine trying to organize over 70 spices. The variety of sizes has helped us organize our cupboards significantly. We have placed them on 2 lazy susans (bought for each) and its great to be able to see our entire collection of spices. There is a significant financial investment with this product, but I'd say it was money very well spent and I don't anticipate having to replace this setup. We still have some additional containers to buy and being able to buy single containers is great. I can also attest to the durability of the set having dropped a full set filled with spices from about six feet off the ground. They held up beautifully.
