This paper towel holder has achieved perfection. It does what it's supposed to and couldn't be simpler. Reloading is a snap: just press in the buttons on the cap, lift it off, drop on a new roll of paper towel and press the cap back on. Takes about 3 seconds.

If you need to move it somewhere else, just grap the cap to lift the entire unit. The cap won't come off unless you deliberately press both buttons.

The base is weighted just right so that the unit doesn't move when you vigorously pull off a paper towel. And the ridge around the bottom prevents the roll from unrolling. It's ingenious in that it works great but you hardly know it's there and doesn't require any moving parts that might get in your way.
