I received this crock promptly and in good condition. Perhaps because it sits on the counter next to my older French-made one, I am giving it only 4 stars instead of 5. The new one is a stark white, as opposed to the creamier color of the older one, and the lip has a subtler, less-defined shape than my older one.
However, this one is a great size, holds many utensils, and is more than acceptable. Had I not had my previous one, I would have given this one a better review, because it is quite attractive, sturdy and functional.

disappointed - not jumbo - but should have reaaly looked at the size dimensions - back it went
